The Synaptix Hackathon at DTU was an exciting event that brought together bright minds to solve real-world challenges using cutting-edge technology. Over 48 hours, participants worked tirelessly to create working prototypes for two compelling problem statements.
Convert Text to Engaging Short Videos :Participants were tasked with developing a solution that converts text into engaging short videos. These videos needed to include narration, background music, and appealing visuals to capture the audience's attention and convey the message effectively.
Competitor Analysis :The second challenge was to create a platform that could analyse competitor-related documents. Using Generative AI, teams were expected to extract insights, summarize findings, and identify emerging trends in competitor strategies.
The hackathon saw a distinguished panel of judges, including Mr. Vinoth Sivam, Head of Technology, ABC One , Mr. Gururaj Rao, EVP, ABC , Mr. Sameer Jadhav, EVP, ABC . They evaluated the solutions based on creativity, feasibility, and technical execution.
Out of 78 registered teams, 15 teams were shortlisted to present their prototypes. The competition was fierce, but only the best ideas stood out. In the end, three teams emerged as winners, with additional special prizes awarded to, 1 Fresher’s Team Prize and 1 All-Girls Team Prize.
The Synaptix Hackathon was a fantastic platform for showcasing talent, creativity, and the potential of Generative AI in solving complex problems. The participants not only gained valuable experience but also contributed to pushing the boundaries of technology.
